HOMG SO EXCITED FOR TAIWAN THIS SUMMER LOLOLOLOL PERFECT AHAHAHA ASIA ILY.
Have I mentioned this before? I think I have.
I'm spending a little of July and most of August in Taiwan. (Hopefully) by myself, living at my grandmother's and taking mandarin classes during the weekdays. I KNOW, FUN RITE GAIZ?
I just suddenly had this flash of "HOMG MANDARIN IS IMPORTANT, NEED TO SPEND TIME WITH FAMILY, SUPER JUNIOR'S HAVING CONCERT IN AUGUST IN TAIWAN." hit me in the face, and now I find the importance of visiting my family to help improve my mandarin, and (maybe) see SUJU on their asia tour along the way.
one huge problem; i don't want my sister to come with me.
I love her and all, but the problem is~!
she's a selfish brat who doesn't answer questions when being asked and refuses to eat any sort of chinese food because she's in denial that she is in fact, chinese. she hates hot weather, and walking, and working, and talking, and well you know, she's the typical "HI I HAVE NO EMOTIONS" little child.
last time she came with me to taiwan, all she did was cry and complain and sweat. she doesn't talk to my aunts uncles or cousins, because she claims she 'doesn't understand mandarin'. ('I DON'T UNDERSTAND MANDARIN' MY BUTT.)
so basically, it was one of the most unpleasant experiences of my life. not even joking. HELL.
O: but if all goes well, my mum will only buy a ticket for me, and i can spend a glorious month away from home to spend in taiwan.
the other day while I was speaking to my mother, she told me that when i speak in chinese, I sound like a two-year old. And sometimes like a person with a speech impairment. Hm.
and I was talking to my father, and he told me that I switch between chinese accent/english accent when speaking korean.
I wonder what my spanish teacher will say now.
LOLOL
